Default file manager issue (under gnome)

Once I faced this issue. If I try to open any file from file systems I get this alert.

It can be fixed by the following scenario:

1. Run command "gksudo nautilus /usr/share/applications"
2. Find "File Manager" in the opened window and right click on it.  Choose "Properties." Under the "Basic" tab, change "Command" to "nautilus".
